is LASERDATA's low-priced single-user solution of LIS. The software makes the management and analysis of locally stored laserscanning data sets easy. Don't worry about large datasets: import the data to LIS DESKTOP and process it in chunks matching your equipment. LIS DESKTOP builds on a simplified database model of LIS SERVER (locally installed) and integrates laserscanning specific LIS MODULES into the FOSS GIS SAGA. Besides a graphical user interface LIS DESKTOP thus provides the full functionality of a geographic information system.
